FC Malaga City Academy are delighted to announce the signing of former Manchester City Women defender Annabell Veryard - who will join our Femenino side.
The 18-year-old arrives with a wealth of experience, previously at English-giants Manchester City - where she was a member of the Under 16's FA-Cup winning squad.
The defender, who can also play in midfield, received a call-up to the England Lionesses camp - during her time with the Cityzens.
Annabell has previous experience of playing in Spain - with CFF Uryula - where she won the Valencia regional league in 2017.
Upon signing, Annabell said: "I am delighted to have joined FC Malaga City Femenino - a project which I feel is very exciting, and a great opportunity for me.
"I can't wait to get my boots back on, and fall back in love with the sport.
"I am eager to meet up with the team, and begin working hard to achieve both our individual and group goals."
George Jermy, Academy Director, commented: "We're really happy to welcome the signing of Annabell to the academy.
"Annabell comes with great pedigree, and is a tremendously talented player who will bring a lot to the group both on and off the field.
"Our women's project is continuing to grow at an impressive rate - and we are excited for Annie to play a big part for us."
