Today's FC Málaga City Femenino fixture has been postponed - due to new regional COVID-19 regulations affecting our opponents.
Adrian Dominguez Igual's side were due to face Velez CF in Nerja - at 12:00 - in Segunda Anadaluza Femenina (Málaga).
However, Vélez-Málaga - the region where our opponents are located - has been put under new restrictions, due to a rising number of COVID-19 cases in the area. Individuals and groups from high-risk areas are unable to travel, and therefore - the fixture has been postponed until a later date.
We would like to reiterate that both Almuñecar and Nerja - where the academy is located - are safe areas, with no additional restrictions enforced.
FC Malaga City Academy continues to follow all relevant COVID-19 guidelines - and puts the safety of our players, coaches, officials and local residents at the forefront of our operations.
The fixture will be rearranged - with details of the new date, along with streaming information - to be announced in due course.
