Defender Calvin Ransbury revealed that he and his teammates are “excited” for tomorrow evening’s match against Ciudad de Lucena Juvenil.
The American is set to feature in tomorrow evening’s clash with Lucena, and is optimistic about the challenge ahead.
“It’s always great news to hear we have an upcoming game against a top team,” he said.
“I know that all the boys are really excited to get back on the field out playing this weekend.
“Ciudad de Lucena are a very strong side so it should be a great test for us.
“These games further track our progress and give us an idea of the level we are at - so hopefully we can come out with all wins across the weekend.
“It’s amazing to get games against professional teams, and a great opportunity for everyone to prove themselves to anyone watching in the stands or at home.”
Calvin joined FC Malaga City Academy at the beginning of the 2019/20 season, and has been an integral part of Sean Morris’ U19s side since his arrival.
“I’ve really enjoyed my second year here in Spain,” he continued.
“It’s great getting to know boys from all around the world and build a global network with them.
“I’ve had another very fun year both on and off the field - and have enjoyed my time throughly with all the new players.
