Founded in 2013, The FC Malaga City Group shares a combined philosophy and methodology - creating a professional environment to help accelerate player development.
Member clubs benefit from central resources and technologies, as well as utilising a shared network of connections and professional-club links. Our mission is provide more players with access to high-level coaching and a professional environment in order to coach, mentor and develop the next wave of top youth talent.

PROVEN PROGRESSION PATHWAYS
Our Satellite Academies act as extensions of the FC Malaga City brand and with it provide the same high level full-time football environment as our flagship residential program here in Spain.

We realise that for some young players the choice to move to another country away from friends and family can prove to be a little too daunting, because of this our satellite programs will act as a transition for players to get a feel of the environment and be introduced to a high-level football environment before moving to the next stage in our club structure.
​
We aim to help to introduce a european philosophy and clear pathway for players in countries where these aspects are hard to find and by doing so we hope to develop the top unsigned youth talents that lie outside of the professional game.
WHY CONSIDER ONE OF OUR SATELLITE ACADEMIES?
Since the formation of our Academy, we have built a club structure that promotes a clear pathway for players to ascend through our Academy system. Our mission at this club to provide players, from all corners of the globe, who maybe do not have access to the high level of coaching and professionalism in their own home countries with an environment centred around their development.

We are lucky to have seen a high number of quality players progress through our satellite Academies into our flagship program here in Spain and through to our senior teams. It is no coincidence that with each year brings with it a rise in the overall level as we look to close the gap on Spain's biggest clubs.

Students learn through a state-of-the-art online platform, in a structure classroom environment. Our curriculum presents engaging, state-standards aligned content that can be customised to meet the unique needs of a diverse student population.
It is delivered through a combination of teacher-led videos, interactive media and text to promote a varied approach to learning.
