FC Malaga City Academy winger Ramy Zeitoun is determined to make the most of the team's "huge opportunity”, when facing UD Maracena this afternoon.
A combination of #FCMC Under 17s and Under 18s players will be making the short trip to Granada to face Tercera División team UD Maracena’s Cadete side today.
Zeitoun revealed he and the team are “determined” to secure a victory, and believes that a positive performance could open doors for players.
“We’re really determined to get the win,” he said.
“UD Maracena are a high-level Tercera División team, so we know it’s going to be a tough challenge.
“It’s a huge opportunity for us, so we have to give it 110% and hopefully one of us will get noticed."
Zeitoun joined FC Malaga City Academy at the beginning of the season, and shared he has learnt a lot both on and off the field.
“My first season in Spain has been amazing,” he continued.
“I have developed not only as a player, but as a person.
“It’s been a great opportunity to learn a new language and have new responsibilities.
“It’s been great to meet new people from all around the world, and make friends and connections for life.
“The goal is to sign with a professional club in Spain, but I try to take it one game at a time and give my best at every opportunity."
